From underneath stars
Venture dreams of afar
In the shining blue
I find only that is true
I wonder way out west
That of things look best
I look above
Only for beautiful love
From the piper's mouth
His words head south
Beating hearts break
Creative souls ache
In a language we all know
Spoken soft and slow
Cry children yet to come
Not knowing where they're from
And if our heads hum
From words said and done
Just look amongst the trees
For what we truly believe
In the silence of an angel
Comes something so fragile
From sea to desert sea
Angels come and souls leave
When you're on your own
And you find yourself lost and alone
Remember all your faith
Spread your sweet grace
Fear exists in all
Prepare your fall
I'm not hear for long
Maybe soon I'll be gone
He may be the Bloody Prince of Darkness
You may threaten the best
She may be the Queen of Wyomissing
But I am truly the Rain King

Inspiration is a crazy thing
It hits you all of a sudden
Makes you dance makes you sing
Just for a moment though

Unfamiliar yet reminiscent of the one I called my own
I'm almost lost, and yet trying
