Writers Block
Damn the dark voids of the empty mind
With its pathetic continuity and vagaries of perception
I plant the seeds of lackluster abilities
My anguish and frustration leads to depression.
Imageless thoughts taunt a restless spirit.
Fruitless efforts and rambling lines plague the heart
Time and again the attempt is made in vain
Frantic cries to no avail accomplish nil.
Boundless desires fed by the fires of need
As the pen lies still in the hand of naught
Try and try again to string these pearls of wit
As the mind flails within the emptiness of the void.
