Planning a family vacation? Well, pack up your kids and even the family dog and head on over to Hot Springs, Arkansas, America's most popular vacation getaway.
Once you arrive and check into your hotel, rather it be one of the classics or a nice rental cabin, get ready for a fun filled day of activities for the whole family.
You can start by visiting the beautiful 210 acre Botanical Gardens, and then make your way to the Ouachita Mountains where you can take in the fresh air and enjoy the wondrous landscape. If you are an avid outdoorsman, you will appreciate the fishing, hiking and crystal hunting they have to offer.

If your wife doesn't want to join you in your adventures, she can fill her day with antique shopping and a trip to the Hot Springs Spa for the royal treatment. There's nothing like a happy, freshly spoiled wife waiting for you at the hotel after a long, hot day in the sun.
And wait! All is not lost. Wondering how to keep the kids happy? Take them to one of the many water parks here in Hot Springs. Let them enjoy a day of splashing in the water and riding down the slides. A good way to tire them out so you and your spouse can enjoy a nice drink while watching the sunset.
Another activity for your kids to enjoy is the Junior Ranger Program. With this program they will get a tour of the downtown museums and the visitor center, along with several other activities. At the end of the program, they can even take home a Junior Ranger's badge to keep as a reminder of their experience.
During your site seeing excursions you are sure to get hungry, so why not stop off at one of the many restaurants they have to offer. Rather it is for just a plain old American hamburger or a delicious Italian plate of pasta.
Hot Springs has so much to keep you busy and on your toes, or shall I say in the air. Be sure to visit the Mountain Towers, where you will rise 216 feet in the air and get an amazing view of over 140 miles. It is bound to be a rush you will never forget.
So, what are you waiting for? Get in the car and begin your vacation. It is sure to be one for the most exciting adventures you could ever imagine.
