Plane engines thrust powerfully forward, driving to heaven
8am flight, number 687
Been up all night, mind racing
Spent the last two hours at the terminal pacing
How could I have...
Why did I do...
One moment tipsy on the Ave...
The next removing my shoe...
One thing led to another, I didn't intend
In a strange foreign land, just talking like friends
A giggle here, a brush of the hair
The next thing I remember, I'm taking "her" there
It was a mistake, I know that now
Many hours ahead, Maybe I can figure out how
Coming to terms, I don't know if I can
Cheated on you in Bangkok, and I slept with a man

Those dogs were snapping over the fence
I was merely

I can only blame myself ~
I've become someone else;
someone, fun -
and ready for an adventure...
No,
