Strip club etiquette

Much advice has been offered on the subject, but I still find many confused and worried faces. Some people were brought up to believe that the strip club experience is supposed to be more than what they are reading in many offerings of the subject. For those confused disappointed faces, it is time to hear the truth, strip clubs can be exactly how freaky uncle Jim told you they were, when he was your age, so many years ago. You just have to learn a few rules of the social society that governs the strip club industry.

The number one rule involves your attitude. Your attitude includes your appearance, your mood, and your character. If you want to live up to Uncle Jim's legend all 3 ingredients of your attitude should be sharp. Make sure you are well dressed( no jeans or sneakers), well groomed, feeling good, and confident before you even leave the house. This will go a long way to helping to start your night off well. Never go out to the strip club angry, drunk, or looking less than your best, because strippers have very good memories.

Once you arrive to the establishment, don't be afraid to say hello to the security guard or doorman that lets you into the club. Pay your cover charge, if there is one, and tip the cashier a couple of dollars as well. This action gets you recognized as a positive person who came to have a good time. Creating a good vibe with the staff will earn you respect and possible be beneficial in the long term. When you are ready to enter the main stage area find a nice table that is centered between the tipline, the area lining the stage, and the back wall. This way you don't appear to be over excited nor like a person who doesn't plan to tip.

When the waitstaff arrives at you table, order your drink and here is where you request your "ones for fun". Your requesting of the change in this manner accomplishes two things; the dancers will see you plan on tipping and the waitress will be happy to get rid of some dollar bills. Stay in your seat and enjoy your first drink, letting whatever happens...happen. Never appear to be to anxious for anything. You have all night to party.

When you have finished your first beer and are ready to start on another, at the time it arrives is when you move towards the stage. It doesn't matter if you really like the girl on stage or not. Your hoping to get lucky some how some way. Remember the tipline is only for tippers so this is when you start tipping. Rules for tipping: don't ball up the dollar bills, don't create
