Poetry: Night

by Sarah Armor

Created on: January 01, 2007   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

These words are a sin
In this sacred silence
With the cool
Gentle night
Flowing against my bared skin-
Softness, sweetness, sighing soundless.

This night is a sin
Blasphemy against him
The harsh, bright
Golden sun
Lances cruelly through the sky-
Strengthless, heartless, dreadful coldness.

This song is a sin
Weaving through the loving
Weaving through
The wonder of
Nightsilk currents of silence-
Darkness, blackness, sieze the night.
