God is everywhere; therefore by design wisdom must also be everywhere as one is ready to recognize it. I met someone the other day who showed me a comedy skid video that was not only extremely funny, but also very wise. The pearl of wisdom was to stop whatever it is that doesn't feel right to you and do what does feels right without trying to analyze to find logic or reason for your thinking, because by doing so you are magnifying the problem. Something we all heard of, but for some reason don't put it into practice. This definitely made an impression on me this time around. I decided to put it into practice. I came to the conclusion that I can stop thinking about everything that makes me unhappy in the same way I quit smoking 15 years ago, "I just STOPPED it!" Sometimes, yes, I felt the desire to smoke and I did until one day the whole habit disappeared. I guess I got tired of getting sick. You can change the way you feel by literally telling yourself to just stop doing what you're doing. Like smoking, thinking about what you don't want is a bad habit and an addiction you may be unaware of. However, you have the power within you to make the decision to be mindful of your present moment and tell yourself that you are here to enjoy your life.
The human mind loves to create mysteries, superstitions, stories, and all sorts of complications that aren't really necessary for you to exist successfully on the planet. There are countless of books out there telling you to live your life now, but how exactly do you do that? Well, you need to teach yourself to JUST STOP IT! Stop doing what is not working for you. You do that by simplifying your life and by staying focused in your world right here and right now. You can't do that if you're thinking and worrying about everything you have no control over, therefore you must decide whether you're going to live in certainty and balance or fear and confusion.
If something doesn't make sense, feels right, or is not what you want, tell yourself "STOP IT, I WAS FEELING JUST FINE A SECOND AGO AND I LIKE IT THAT WAY." Stop making up stories you have no way of knowing whether they're true or not. Life is about the choices we make. If you can't confirm what you're thinking, why obsess about it? Let it go. What makes you think you're right about everything you think about other people? You can't read everyone's mind; otherwise neither language nor communication would exist. That kind of connection between two people is rare. Face it
