Hidden away in a forest
I lay beneath a Dogwood tree
Looking through its branches
That are outstreached to the sky
It's heavy limbs bend a little
Under the weight of brilliant white blossoms
Silent, gentle, breezes
Bring flowers down around me
The smell of wildflowers perfume the air
And the sky is a brilliant blue
The grass is tall, soft, green
Butterflies dance above me
I become consumed
By the beauty of this place
That exists in its quiet solitude
It is a paradise
A piece of heaven

A place I go to escape reality into a mystical imagination no one knows.
A place
