The Main Stream Media needs news 24 hours a day. If they can't find it they will provoke the audience to become outrage about something when the news are not coming in naturally or if they are coming people are getting bored and tuning to other channels. They know how some people are about their race when you make a comment denigrating them. They love their outburst of indignation because it creates news. They especially love Al Sharpton coming in to create more news. Al Sharpton sees this opportunity to see how he can make money out of this. The Main Stream Media and Reverend Al Sharpton are just taking advantage of the thin skin of some African Americans. If these people stop reacting to any little comment about them and continue growing up not paying attention to stupid comments, you will find Main Stream Media ignoring the Imus or whoever talk show host and the reactive sector of African American will never know what was said about them.

When we think little about ourselves we become defensive when some people make comments about them. It is time to stand tall and ignore those that want to make money out of people's low self-esteem. There denigrating comments said about Asians, Spanish, illegal immigrants, whites, etc every day but we never know about it. The greater reaction comes from a sector of African American and one of them, Reverend Al Sharpton especially, is taking advantage of this to make money. Why is the reverend not preaching how to become a better person regardless of the circumstances? Isn't it supposed to be his call? Isn't it his call to help them gain stature instead of defending them from adversity in life?

Sometimes people say comments that are true even though we shouldn't be so harsh and offend people. But it happens and we have to know is true and try to help those that are damaging certain race reputation. It happens with all races. Certain subcultures just damage the reputation of the whole culture. It is happening in a greater measure today with the white people. Some white people are called white trash and I haven't heard the Main Stream Media exploiting it yet. I haven't heard any white representative trying to make money out of it yet.

But our responsibility should be help people become better persons and ignore those hungry for money personalities. Change the channel when somebody said something denigrating and The Main Stream Media is waiting for your outrage to make money. Don't tune in. We are in charge. Be smart men!
