Hidden.
Last night I drifted towards sleep
And someone came to me
And though I know her, I cannot tell
How my heart is moved by she:
She sings my name with lips so soft
As whispers on the air
And gently calms the terror night
With glowing light so fair.
She looks to me and finds my fears
That I thought hidden so well,
And wraps me in her comfort arms
To draw me from their spell.
She talks to me and spins her words
Through long and echoing nights
Till I am lifted high above
The darkness of my sight.
But long before my waking hour
She fades as time we steal,
For ours is such a special love
It cannot be revealed.
