Just imagine the opportunity that these aging rock bands are giving their fans. To actually be there in the audience enjoying the greatest rock bands of all times live on the stage in front of you. What a unique and exciting memory you will have after seeing and hearing these muscians, what a treat and memories of a lifetime.
These tours are for you the fan, so go out and enjoy your favorite musical talent.
As long as these musican are on top of their game, who really cares how old they are. When you listen to talent on a CD or are listening to your favorite radio station age has no bearing. You are just listening to pure talented muscians. Who cares how old these talented people are. In person, some of these entertainer look very youthful. If they don't just shut your eyes and enjoy their sound.
While busy raising children 1970 1980 I did not have time to really pay a lot of attention to rock groups. Even though I heard them on the radio I did not let it sink in the talent that I was hearing let alone attend their concerts. I think it is a great opportunity for individuals, senior citizens as well as the younger crowd to attend these great musical icons concerts.
What a lot people are not seeing and have overlooked is that these older musical idols have set musical standards some being the greatest musician of all times and some of the younger rock groups have mimicked their style and sound and this in itself is a tribute to these older musicians.
One group the Rolling Stones for instance is the longest running act in the history of rock music. The group was formed by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and they have been playing rock and roll for 30 years and still going strong.
The legendary Tina Turner will be touring 17 cities across the U.S. and Canada this fall in her first concert tour in 8 years. This singer is 68 years old what inspiration this is to other aging citizens and rockers. The stamina it takes to tour and perform says a lot for Tina Turner.
Cher has been entertaining the audiences for more than 40 years and is still dazzling fans in Las Vegas.
These are just a few names of famous talented musicians and singers that are returning to the stage and fortunately giving us all an opportunity of a lifetime to enjoy their musical talent. So let's take advantage of their performances and enjoy them while we still can.
These muscial icons should open our eyes and be an inspiration to all with the realization that we should live life with gusto, never forgetting we all can champion a cause and that all of can contribute and accomplish great things in our lifetimes. Our greatness is not determined by our age, nationality, or gender just by our deeds.
