A guy's take on women's sexuality

Women's Sexuality: A Man's Pespective

I pondered how to start this article and I decided to recant the answers of some of my best guy friends. Their ages range from eighteen to forty years old. Some of their answers and viewpoints surprised me but open my eyes to how a guy really thinks of a girl.
Most of the men I talked to didn't seem to mind it if there girlfriend had numerous sex partners before them. One of the guys mentioned to me that "hey that's just reality, of course she's know other guys and be there with them." The same guy that said this went on to tell me that he didn't want to hear about her experiences with other guys, sexual or not, but he preferred to think that he was the only was on his mind. Hearing about those experiences made him doubt himself and his importance to her. He became insecure whenever other men were mentioned, who of course were in the past. I sensed that he felt self-doubt creeping up on him when she mentioned another guy's name. He seemed to feel very threatened by the existence of another man in her past. I was not aware that men felt this way but have taken the advice and I don't talk about other men to my husband.

I interviewed another friend, Lon, who said that, "A girl can wear a skirt these days that is extremely short and not get called a "slut" whereas in the 80's she would be labeled a slut and her parents probably would not have allowed her to go anywhere looking like she does."
I gathered from other interviews that days if a girl doesn't wear a revealing top (low cut and skimpy), tight pants, or a really short skirt she is viewed as insecure about her body and afraid to show it off. She also might be viewed as though something is wrong with her, especially in the late teen years. One man mentioned that when he saw a woman in a night club he preferred the skimpy dressing such as a very short skirt showing most of the woman's legs and a "v-neck" top that is somewhat tight, but that when they were around his parents he would like a woman to look more conservative and covered up, that way his parents would approve of her sooner.
Again, there seems to be a consensus on the subject of "how free men really want their women to be today." Most of the men I interviewed said that they like it when a woman is assertive and more forward with them because then they know where she stands and what she wants in a man and in life. Specifically, I noted that one man said if a woman is too quiet and sits back instead of forward
