Should guys go for permanent leg hair removal?

Questions such as this are unfair, and biased in general. This is not a yes or no question. The reason is that shaving your legs is a personal preference, regardless of sex. If a man wishes to permanently remove the hair on his legs, then let him. If he does not, then let him. Society, at least from my experience, is not yet ready to fully accept people and their differences. I still hear the same responses, no men should never shave their legs, it is for women only! Then should the reverse also be true, all women must shave their legs. There are a great many women who do not shave their legs. And most people do not care. And why should they? It matters not. In truth the questuon we should be asking is "Why do you choose to shave your legs?" To gain insight into something we do not understand or have little experience. The answer may not be what you preconcieved.

I shave my legs, and have contemplated permanent removal, mainly because I get ingrown hairs constantly. I have very fine hair, and this combined with long hours in long pants, jeans and dress pants. Removal would help save me time and energy getting ready. But it can be very expensive, approximately $100.00 per laser treatment. Several treatments will be neccesary for removal, and the guarantee for no regrowth is only a few years. There are home removal kits, but they only last a few days to a week. I enjoy the feeling of shaved legs during sex. It is exquisite, and a sensation I was not expecting. It is strange to me that more men have not at least tried shaving their legs, but maybe they have.

I am still amazed that there are people who regard men having shaved legs as 'wrong' or 'one step away from being gay.' What does shaved legs have to do with sexual orientation, or right and wrong? Men in the 1400s and 1500s wore wigs, knickers, frilly shirts, tights and ballet-like shoes. What is socially acceptable is fleeting and only temporary. While we debate this topic, it is becoming more accepted. What truly matters is what you decide to do. It is your body and therefore your decision. Which is what makes us human, and differentiates us from the rest of the animal kingdom. We can express ourselves in any way, shape or form that we decide or concieve.

This is a fun topic to discuss; no real concrete answer can be given. It is solely based upon personal preference and expression. So, when you decide to ask this question, or one like it, ask yourself why are you asking. To gain insight, and out of pure curiosity? Or to argue, and insult the man you are asking?
