When the Rush Limbaugh show is on the radio the first thought that many people like myself have is that he is a pompus and self centered man! The word arrogant comes to mind among others. Rush begins his self glorification at the start of the show and it doesn't stop until his show is over.

Now he has so many copy cats to this bizarre behavior that one wonders if these men think we have all lost our minds and we now think they are "the chosen ones". Hardly.

Rush is over the top in almost all categories when it comes to being over done. He reminds me of the women in the world who think they are beautiful because they have money and "they think they are beautiful!" This proves if we truly believe we are beautiful then we are; perhaps that means we can be so stupid we simply refuse to listen to the truth or see the truth or hear the truth. In so many words that is how Rush is. All important to whom, his sponsors, his employees, but what about the rest of us?

Rush doesn't do justice to most topics. He torments the listeners with tirades of his almighty opinions. Plus he bases his truths on what ever convenient sound bite he can find to make that truth. Wake up, Rush, we understand how truth can be twisted, you did not invent that technique.

Rush has harsh words for the drive by media. What the devil is the Rush Limbaugh Show if not a drive by media?

Does he hurt his fellow conservatives, frequently that would be a yes. He likes to insult and inflame liberals and the so called left wing. Well, we get that from all news media and the comedians on all television networks too. Rush seems to like being rude in a public way and even being as offensive as possible, Rush is a good example for how not to be.

Limbaugh is a well paid entertainer. He is not some intellectual, exceptional man that has a lot of influence. Limbaugh is a smart, talented man, an actor with a loud mouth and the gift of brazen, guiltless, self worship that some find amusing.

If you only listen to his show now and then it can be thought provoking. He has moments of critical analysis that seem to make sense. Not all of his comments are without merit but a good many are just rediculous and inflamatory.

The man is nothing more than the celebrity he and his handlers have created. He makes a lot of money trashing other agendas and ideas. He loves being rude and egotistical. Most of us given his talent would behave the same way if we had the money and clout to do so. Humans just have a tendency to sink to that "I am better than you" when we get a little money, power and celebrity.

So, hey it is a show meant to offend; listen and be offended. It is a show meant to entertain and even though I am in total disagreement with much he spews forth, it is after all entertaining. Rush Limbaugh is what America has made him. He speaks we listen and cringe.
