Poetry: Time

by Cathy Brown

Created on: December 31, 2006   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

Strangers in the night
I caught a glance at you and knew
that you and I were ment to be
would we last for just a moment in time
or throughout eternity

Strangers in the night
You passed me by
The smell of your perfume
put a twinkle in my eye

Strangers in the night
I had to know your name
As I approached you
I thought about my Game

What would I say?
What should I do?
I struggled with all of my Might

I took too long
So now you are gone
And we shall forever remain

Strangers in the night
