Let's face it, many woman dread going to the pool, but it doesn't have to be that way. Here are some ideas to help you look your very best at that pool party, and feel great while you're doing it. Most woman feel uncomfortable with their stomach area, perhaps a little muffin top? Ask the store clerk for a ruched bathing suit, and she will lead you to the secret many woman would die for. A ruched suit dramatically accentuates the waist and blends in all extra curves while doing so! And it's unbelievably stylish! But be sure to avoid large prints, because this will make you seem large and bulky.
If you have large hips or are ill at ease with your bottom section, it doesn't mean you are banned from the bikini bottom. The trick is to attract attention to your upper half. All that means is to go crazy on your top with bold patterns and vibrant colors. Get creative. Just be sure it fits right. The trick is to buy an eye-catching top, and pair it with a subtle bottom. Perhaps black, brown, or white. No one will pay attention to your hips, their eyes will be drawn up!
If you have a large chest, halter straps would be very attractive on you, and they're very popular! Just make sure to get a bathing suit with an under wire, so your breasts will be perkier and have more support.
If your have the opposite problem, and have a more boyish figure, you may consider the push-up bikini, which has instant results, and no one will know. Also helpful are the demi-cut and the balconette style, which make your breasts look instantly larger. Beware of the string bikini, it will only lay flat and while helping you appear athletic, doesn't give you feminine curves.
If you have several areas you feel uneasy about, do not go straight to the black, swim-team-style swimsuits! You can still look cute and have fun as well. Just look for a swimsuit with diagonal or vertical stripes, an instant way to look thinner and taller. Small prints can help disguise extra weight. But whatever you do, be sure the bathing suit is fitted to help create feminine curves. That will add smoothness to your figure.
And as for those lucky women whose bodies resemble superstars, you can get away with any style. However, the cut-out one piece is a very sexy way to show skin and string bikinis adapt to your curves from top to bottom and reveal your curves with out down playing anything! You lucky ladies have free reign and can choose between any bathing suit and still look great.
