Aria
Beauty hath beholden,
Beauty overwrought.
Haranguing of spoken word,
Vehemence of thought.
Subliminal traces, ore of lust,
Sheltered in the glade,
Foolish child of foolish spawn,
A sombre masquerade.
An eerie cry bespoke of night,
Where laughter doth lament.
A dire place, neath ravens' wing,
Where heavens' tears are spent.
Until the night doth near her end,
And rays of gold break through,
Requiems haunting of inertia,
Shall forever once more, unto.
