Created on: June 24, 2008
Write as I may, of the ones from which I descend.
These many hard, tried and true people they were.
Imagine as you must how they labor each day,
life they must endure and again, todays standards cannot relate.
Basic food and shelter, and also must be true,
love and lives made as generations lived life through.
As I repose, o' the stories heard, of father's father's,
life's freedom we have retained and realize it's worth.

The scientists have found
The genetic link
In our human code
And traced it back to a girl
The Sires Unsung
From greatness I have surely come,
Of ancestors and forbears of unknown sum,
In ignorance I muse upon

Ancestors
In the attic
Where only webs and spiders live
We unearthed a family of skeletons
A chest holding dust
Dating back generations
Pictures ,
Primeval Ooze
Up we crawled, a curious mob
From a prehistoric protozoan blob
Good ol' Homo erectus
Who would ever expect us?
And
Long ago in a time forgotten
People could be seen dancing to and fro
'round in circles, crossing paths
Near a huge glowing
