Testimonies: I want the fairy-tale wedding!

Every little girl in America dreams of a Cinderella-type wedding. A wedding that
is for the entire world to enjoy while she is the center of that world. The bride's
dress is the most important thing in the whole event. The cake is always a
three-tiered white cake with white icing, and no strange flavors or fillings. The
bride and groom are not required to spend hours upon hours of time trying to make

each guest feel special, just being invited and being part of the wedding makes
everyone feel special.
Weddings are meant to be in church, with all the family and friends around. The
ceremony is to be taken serious instead of some big production of special vows
that are anything but traditional. Regardless of the life the bride may lead any
other day, her wedding day is meant to be a special day with her as the center of
attention and the life she and her husband are to begin the most important thing.
Even the most modern bride still wants the simple feeling of having a husband
who can take care of her and give her a feeling of safety.
Weddings have always been a celebration of the love the couple shares, but that
celebration doesn't have to put them in debt for years, especially when things like
buying a home are more important. So many couples are married in large major
productions that cost more than the down payment on a nice house would be, only
to end up divorced before the bills are paid.
The truly happy couple just needs to be married and share a simple piece of cake
with family and friends. Being the princess for just a little while and then moving
on into life is enough for the bride who dreams of a fairy-tale wedding. Knowing
that the people involved in the ceremony and reception are there because they love
the couple and wish them the best is enough for the bride who dreams of a simple
and elegant traditional wedding. As the song said, "white lace and promises, a
kiss for luck and we're on our way," is the way most young girls dream of their
wedding day. Things that are considered traditional and classic are never out of
style, and the simple fairy-tale wedding is truly a classic.
