Lots of people have heard about Aspen, this wonderful Colorado city situated beautifully along the Roaring Fork River and surrounded picturesquely by mountains like Red Mountain, Smuggler Mountain and Aspen Mountain. Most of the people connect the name of this wonderful place not only with the aspen trees in this area but also with everything that includes winter: snow, ski, ice skating, etc. Of course it is true that Aspen is one of the world famous ski resorts.

People have seen how beautifully the sun shines in the snow but it is a good idea to see the sun during other seasons: how it shines in the morning dew. It is really very beautiful to have a look at sunbeams which create unique shades of colors that play by lightning up flowers, bushes and trees. It is a great feeling to look at the changing of the colors from dark to light. The eyes contemplate this beauty and all the harmony of Aspen makes a conquest of visitor`s heart. Oh, what a beauty! One can understand why the Ute Indians called the Aspen area "Shining Mountains"!

Dear tourists and nature lovers, visit this wonderful place either in spring or in summer to enjoy the cool days with their mild climate! Aspen is beautiful not only during the winter months! Go to the mountains nearby to look at the vegetation on the rocks which grabs the eye of all admirers of beauty. Short-lived wild flowers abound in the highland valleys and the slopes are a botanist`s delight. Being in this area can help you to recruit your health and strength!

Please, do not forget to take a summer lift ride to great hiking or go through the Independence Pass-a special place which is open only three months a year.

What a great experience is horse riding?! Aspen Wilderness Outfitters specialized in guided services offered the chance to see Elk and Deer in remote Wilderness. This adventure is magnificent because of the majestic scenery and the virgin nature. This is a good time to escape from the big industrial cities and to take a rest deep into the nature.

Another challenge could be Rock Gardens Rafting. This adventure is for the whole life. The Glenwood Springs are so beautiful and one can enjoy the wonderful waters of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers.

What else can one do in Aspen?! Fishing, biking, off road touring, visiting sight seeings-Aspen Art Museum, Wheeler Opera House, concert hall, etc. Aspen is a host to many festivals, workshops and competitions. One more thing! What about going to the Crystal Palace Theater Restaurant? It not only offers meals but also attracts its visitors with a very strange and amazing thing-the actors double as waiters during the dinner and after that they take the stage for humor and satire.
