Should there be freedom of speech for Christian broadcasters?

Yes

by Francis Palmieri

Freedom of speech in America, is it fact or fiction? By the very implication, freedom of speech gives the listener the inalienable right to hear a point of view and judge its merits without malice. Is the Christian broadcaster any less a pravelent view point than the view point of any other point of view? The answer is no, all speech is purported to be of equal value. Meeting of the minds can only be obtained by dialoge and finding the areas of agreement. It is only when Christian broadcasting would appear to bring into focus the threats to society from changing the morality and the health risk of change brought to society by abhorant behavior; that they overpower other points of view that take this question to a point where it could be entertained.

The chaos seems to come directly from the political correctness movement that moves public opinion toward those whom would gain from changing it. This brings to question the equal rights of individuals that are normally part of the United States Constitution. Is a population really free to live when one segment is brought to silence?

To the founders of this once great country, absolute freedom was the number one goal of this new found nation. It is this freedom that unlocked the ability for us to work and worship God without restriction. These freedoms made the United States a Nation of great power and respect around the world.

Now that others are in power who would like us to join a new world order that worships gods other than that of the Christian Bible, our freedom of speech is to be impaired. The laws of this new world order are contrary to what the founders of this nation established.

Because the christian life style is in direct conflict to those of world culture, christians are deemed as a threat of disorder throughout soietyand the world. The norms have been altered and the lifestyles have changed. What was once rejected is now received as normal. What was once perceived as a family of a man, a woman, marriage and natural child birthing resulting in the raising of these children by a male and female has been redefined.

The Christian culture, once widely accepted as normal has been forced off the scene as new laws were established that threaten the christian culture. The new axiom in American society is to silence the critics. It is this sorry senario that has brought the christian family to the point of ridicule from others living a varient life style. It is this same element that demands to silence forever, the Christian Voice.
