One of the single most common subjects of debate around the world is the subject of money. Be it money, economics, the economy itself, the process of monetary gain (or loss), the monetary system, budget, what our elected officials are doing about it, why the limitations of the budget and the economy affect us the way they dothe list goes on and on. I have heard these discussions, heated debates, and educated dialogues since, since, well, as far back as I can remember. I've heard the (supposedly) elite economists and other esteemed experts of the economic and monetary fields speak volumes about our economy, its pitfalls and benefits, its strengths and weaknesses, and the innumerable things the people, the governments, and the societies and civilizations of the world can do to improve it, and hopefully make it all better.
What I have NEVER heard in all of this is the one thing I believe is the root of the matter. We continually hear why budget constraints will not allow us to proceed as hoped, but we do not hear why those budget constraints are set as they are. We hear about the ebb and flow of the market, the economy, and we hear why these tides go in and out, but we don't hear anything, not one thing, about solving the true, basic cause of the difficulty.
We hear our politicians rant about what they're going to do for the economy and how their efforts will prompt the economy to work better for everyone. We hear about the cuts in budgets for services and endeavors that were specifically designed to make things better for all involved, and then hear why the economic breakdown in struggling countries and societies are leading to severe violence, war, starvation, and even the desperate attempt for economic stimulation through illegal and immoral means.
Again, what I have yet to hear is what the true cause of the problem is. Sure, we endlessly hear about the myriad of symptoms to the root cause of the problem, and then we hear about how all of these experts are going to treat those symptoms in the hope of solving the problem. But we've all been taught that you don't put out a fire by disabling the fire alarm, haven't we? So why do we (as a species, not just countries, societies, or communities) continue to treat the symptoms of the root problem and stick our collective fingers into the crumbling dam of economic woe?
Okay, here it is. This is the true cause of the economic woe that spans the globe. This is the problem, that if solved, could propel humanity, civilization,
