Poetry: Dreaming of you

by Ethel Jean Grubbs

Created on: June 23, 2008   Last Updated: July 09, 2008

It was a night to remember
your eyes my smile engaging
in thoughts of how it would be
exploring sensation's mystery
wanting too flow with you.

Your voice takes me on a ride
whispers saying you need my
gentle attention as we entwine
sprit, body, soul, mind reaching
higher and higher.

Desired feelings prone to pursue
every moment touched by authorized
hands of love, devotion, honest emotion
caress me like the stars embrace the moon
dance with me lets sing tunes of enchantment
unforgettable thats what you are darling.

Tonight I'll wait with every anticipation
dressed in your favorite ensemble
wool pajamas, pink hair rollers and a box
of tissue for my sniffling nose.
Dreams, gentle words spoken: Ha..Hachoo
Honey can you get the vicks vapor rub,
this cold is getting the best of me.
