Well this issue is largely academic now that the man is dead. I argue this is justice for the evil committed at his behest. Many would argue we are no better for putting him to death yet they do not think about the thousands who lost mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and children because they in some way displeased this dictator or his cronies.

Others argue that putting Saddam to death will incite even more violence somebody please tell me how much more violence we can witness to what is actually happening over in Iraq today.

For the suffering this man caused, he forfeited his right to life and has now paid the ultimate price. His manner of death was far more merciful than the hideous painful deaths of those who died under his rule. That is what distinguishes civilised and rational justice from cruel and inhumane tyranny. Saddam Hussien can now answer to his God for the actions and atrocities he committed.
