The Tragedy Of Love
Trying to collect my thoughts, you said
Though difficult at times
Your feelings for me a torrent
Coming quickly from deep inside
As soon as you grabbed onto one thought
It was wrenched from your grasp
Was it really my love that you sought
Or was it my love you felt from the past
Bill, can you feel me, deep inside your heart
You told me once you couldn't exist
If we had to live apart
Bill, can you feel me,the pain that I feel
The pain is all you have left me
I'm imprisoned with no appeal
I hope you can feel me, I hope you know it's me
I want the pain to be as bad for you
I hope from the pain you'll never be free
I always thought I could trust your love
Oh God, I was so sure
You promised you'd love me always
You said this pain I would never endure
Bill, how can you abandon me now
We're so close to attaining our dreams
I never thought you would leave me
I guess nothing is ever as it seems

I know I shouldn't feel this way
I wish this was just a lie.
