Yes, tazers hurt, that is an undesputable fact, but keep in mind that every policeman who uses one, has been shot by one, too. (They have to be shot by one before they can carry one.) I can assure you, they know what they are doing and they by no means take it lightly.
One of my family's friends has been a cop since before I was born, and he told me being tazered definitely wasn't fun and that any cop he knew wouldn't use a tazer on ANYONE (armed or unarmed) unless they had no other choice. He also told me that in his experience "Getting tazered is a hell of a lot less painful that being shot with a bullet."
It is completely unreasonable that people should complain about tazer usage. If they were being misused, then fine, they'd have grounds on which to argue. However, that is not the case. Police are only using tazers when necessary.
Would the people complaining rather the police shoot those resisting arrest with bullets? It is doubtful. They'd probably complain even more. So what's their problem? How do they justify, ruining the reputations of good men who are only trying to make the world a safer place for their children to grow up in? A safer world for everyone to live in!
We have a serious problem on our hands! The problem is, when people complain, they have no evidence to support their complaints. So their complaints are what you and I would call "a load of hot air". Or what a court judge should rule as circumstantial evidence. Funny, most courts seem to never use the words circumstantial evidence any more... Lady's and Gentlemen, we are welcoming the return of the Salem Witch trials! All the evidence in those trials was circumstantial and over 20 people were killed! We cannot let it go that far! For our children's sake, it cannot go that far! We cannot leave them that legacy! We have to teach them common sense! Without common sense, they will be another egotisitcal complainer without evidence.
Do you want your children to be like the lady a few years back who unjustly sued Mc Donalds because she spilled her coffee (which was clearly labeled HOT) on herself. She should have lost her case. Now if the cup wasn't labeled HOT, and she hadn't been driving while trying to drink it, then maybe she'd have a case, but since it was CLEARLY labeled and she was driving while trying to drink it, it was her fault. (She knew it too, and that's why she was mad. She took her anger at herself for being so careless and took it out on Mc Donalds. Pretty low huh?)
It's when stupid, egotistical people complain that we run into these kind of debates that should never arise in the first place. So stop complaining and get on with your life America.
