Frank, My Brother's Requiem
When you passed from Earth to Eternal
did glory fill your soul?
Was there the majesty of Heaven?
Did you know you reached your goal?
I pray no sting, nor suffering,
but Promise eased your death
and winged angels brought you home
when you drew your final breath.
You were alone; this grieves me so,
but every night in prayer,
the Lord, I've asked, angels camp
'round the beds of those I care.
"Well done, my faithful servant,"
Were you welcomed home this way?
You suffered pain and loneliness,
yet you waited for His day.
Oh, so swiftly gone to Heaven!
Yet tho t'was your reward,
my dichotomy's your symphony,
I just lost you to our Lord.

Poetry: Death of a loved one
by Judi B
Heaven Has My Hero Now
Heaven has my hero now,
My life with you is gone.
It's changed in oh, so many ways
But yet continues
"Never"
(In Loving Memory
For my Tattooed Queen)
Taken away before your time,
The debt paid before the crime,
Left but never
The Long Wait
The leaves fell down
Upon the autumn grass;
Frailty in every shade of red...
I sat by the window for a closer
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you
Neither sunrise nor sunset that I don't hear your voice
Or miss your laugh
And
Lights shine off in the distance
Nothing but blackness appears
There is resistance
Death whispers in my ear
He talks of a life
