Romance also blooms in Metin 2, as you can obtain an emotion mask to dance, tease, and kiss a loved one. If a relationship is serious enough, you can talk to The Old Lady in the game and get married. You can get a tux and a wedding gown and even flowers. However, it's quite costly in game gold. The benefit of marriage is the wedding rings act as teleportation rings to quickly teleport to your husband or wife's location.

Metin 2 is a huge game with thousands of players, which recently caused the creators to create a total of five playing channels to reduce the amount of lag. If you really do not have a fast computer, stay away from channels 1 and channel 2. These channels are popular for shops. Hundreds of players use these channels to set up a shop inventory that players can buy from. In many cases, players will set up their shop and leave it run for hours and walk away from the computer. This causes a lot of lag and jumpiness to the game if your computer isn't fast enough to handle all of the action.

Metin 2 is a game for all ages and is monitored at all times. There are managers that play online called MOD's that keep people's language and player respect in check.

I highly recommend Metin 2, it's a great free online RPG, but be careful.. it can get addicting.
