Amongst the view of shattered lives,
Of friends and families split in two;
Between angry husbands and lying wives,
I have the very best in you.

You are the sunlight in my morning,
The soothing breeze in my day,
The brilliant diamond in my crown adorning,
You are the answer to what I pray.

Without your love to warm my heart,
It would have stopped beating long ago;
Without your love each day to start,
My life would have nothing now to show.

Promise that you'll never leave my world,
And I promise to you my life;
You'll always be my treasured pearl,
Forever my love, my friend, my wife.
