Glued to my television set, guess what I see on a daily basis- the so called "celebrities" advertising one product or the other. They should be the target of companies and firm who are into consumer's product or services, needs influential personality to advertise their product or services and portray them as been endorsed by a class most people want to emulate. This people could have a secret bad life, they don't care- all they cared about is advertise their products and increasing their returns.

In the beginning
Thousands of years ago, one of the best ways to gain fame was through title, such as a monarch, or to be a warrior whose deeds had a direct impact on the lives of their fellow countrymen- an honour well deserved and rewarded. Some of that still happens today.
The BBC was quoted as saying "Modern-day celebrities are hard to avoid these days, and the stars of today are a far cry from their ancient counterparts" evidence to the rate of degradation of the celebrities of our time. I will want to think how celebrities come to be? Don't get me wrong here, some of them are great individuals and have good impact in the society, but majority of them are either careless or don't bother about their immediate environment and the kind of influence they impact on the society especially the younger generation.

Now: Money Rules
The anthem of most of the celebrities is "money rules and controls all things" hence they don't really care about anything that comes there way- they believed with money all things can be resolved.
They are highly paid, most commonly more than anybody in this whole wide world and that is while they tend to throw money away lavishly and used it to buy their way through most things, abuse and arrest inclusive unfortunately. They are given opportunities to bail and get off the hooks at will.
Most of them loose control over the money they earned but rather been controlled by money loosing the most important thing in the world- common sense.

Bad Attitude
These so-called celebrities are encouraged even when they are in the wrong, which will be great news for the media- making money from negative and bad behaviour. Recently we heard of a celebrity, who on board of British airways exhibited an unjustified anger over the crew and was arrested, taking to court and sentenced to a community service and a fine. Is that what we want the youth to imitate? Abuse the public? The same celebrity recently served a community service in America for an abuse over her maid-
