The secrets of effective weight loss plans

In the world today, you can choose from a variety of weight loss plans, diet products and pills. There are diet pills, exercise weight loss videos and dvds, and so many fad diets that you can have your pick from a vas number of things. Do they all work? In my honest opinion and having tried several I will say that a majory of them do not work. They are just on the market to make money for the people who make the product.

I have spent time trying, testing and comparing the diffrent weight loss plans, or so called "diet" meals and drinks that it's not funny. You have to have two things in order to have a successful weight loss plan. One is food you will actually eat. Who in their right mind will eat seaweed? I am sorry but that does not even sound in the least bit appitizing. If it does to you then by all means try it.

So you need to make sure you find healthy alternative foods to those ones that are bad for you. If you like cheeseburgers then you can make turkey burgers instead and you can have baked homemade french fries in the oven or steamed veggies. Whatever you choose make sure it's something that you will eat. Secondly you need to find an exercise plan that will work for you. For some people it's walking or running outside. For others it's tennis, golf, soccer or any sport of their choosing. Whatever you decide to pick for a workout make sure it's at least 20 minutes 3 times per week. You will find that as you begin to loose weight that you'll get more enegy to go faster and longer. That may take a while if you are just starting out but you'll get there eventually. You may even find a friend or significant other that you might want to work out with to help encourage you in the right direction.

In order to have an effective weight loss plan you need to combine these two things. The diet and the exercise. When you find foods that are healthy alternatives to your old ones it's not going to be hard. You need to also portion your food. One size portion of meat is about the size of your fist. And load up on the veggies and fruit but not too much just a moderate healthy amount. Portion control, exercise and what you eat are the three keys to effectively loosing just the right amount of weight. Once you do this you'll always want to and it will just become part of your life and you'll find you have more energy and you may start to actually like yourself if you don't already.
