JUST A CAT
Why are you crying?
It's just a cat!
Not just a cat.
I cry, I howl
For all the dead, departed things
Husbands, friends, pets, parents
All who have left me
without a reason why
I cry for me
I cry for guilt
I cry for abandonment
Not just a cat
