Well every summer in a nutshell, television becomes sparse as millions of Americans venture out into the great outdoors under the scorching heat. But this summer will count as an exception as gas prices are beating and tearing down peoples walls. It's so true. This only glues more people to their TV sets. So what's about to air this summer? Before I answer this question I would like to mention that the major player shows will be on temporary hiatus as the stars wiil be out with beaus, children, friends, whoever, etc. on vacation.

Moving onto the question: According to my predictions the million dollar password may turn out to be one of the most anticipated of them all. Yes folks, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire part deux will be coming to a TV set near you to abracadabra you guys into fool's gold. That's right the viewers will be gold for the fools or to put it in simplistic terms the producers of the show who scavenge earnings from the high Nielsen ratings. And then we hear a "Oh no system crash, must deactivate". Therefore here's a warning: If such a phenomenom occurs just grab your remote and switch the channel to a different new show such as Legally Blonde The musical: Search of Elle Woods.

Any studs out there worship Hillary Duff? Well if so you'd slobber away from her sister, the mutated sister. Gorgeous yes, but mutated. But don't let that discourage you from glancing at the other hot brods just trying to make it out there through "To be or not to be" rehearsals. It'll be an inspiration for ladies passionate about acting. Next up there is Swingtown. Couples looking for threesomes or foursomes but without the courage or drive to do so. Well now is your chance to be swept off of your feet by the art of menage-a-trois. Bonus package: Laughs unlimited I think.

The last new show that may serve to glimmer the viewer eye is Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Hot? Absolutely. I'm sure she'll make life seem really interesting with the double lives she's leading, fascinating audiences around the world. The rest of the shows making their debuts are nothing but lame reality shows. Reality TV is ever so increasing in popularity but come on America. Reality is what induces nightmares and imprisonates us into the state of insomnia. It makes us spread coffee grains over our bread rather than the I still can't believe it's not butter spread. If this charade keeps up then more of us will be dwindling down into the state of catatonia!

For new episodes of returning shows there is The Bachelorette. Now this is probably the only reality show I'll be looking forward to. Except the tables turn; Million and one guys and one girl. That's equivalent to a sausage fest minus one. Which is not far away from an actual sausage fest. I just hope the bachelorette isn't a bisexual like that Tila-Tequilla girl. Next up the American Gladiators are returning with more heroic games. Gee what an insult to our ancient superheroes, mostly Batman and Wonderwoman. Not Robin though he's so not a gladiator.

Next on the list is Law and Order CI. A must see for crime show fans. And then finally we have Kyra Sedgewick in the Closer coming back on the digital screens to solve more murder cases. I'm sure TNT has been and will continue to rave from their soaring profits. So there you have it. I'm sure the popcorn companies will be living the dream life this summer as TV becomes the primary entertainment medium for many Americans. Yessa! But a message to everyone reading this. TV is like smoking pot. Do not let it possess you. Instead spend your time constructively.
