How to become a comedian as a profession

aren't funny.

Take the show on the road! Take a notebook and a pen to a public place. Sit down in the park, or a mall or a restaurant and just watch people. Become very observant of what kinds of people there are, and what they do. When you are truly humourous, you will see humor in everything around you. You will see the humor in everything you do and what everyone else does.

Carry a notebook everywhere you go, even at home because funny aspects of every day life will take place. Remember, you can't force humor, it just happens. The more you have going on in your life, the better off you are. Why? Being in a relationship has its rewards! Just think you can make money off your loved ones. Comedians are always telling jokes about their spouses. And some of them are really funny. Men are always telling jokes about how they don't understand how women can be called the weaker sex, when women have complete say so in a marriage.

Okay, so what have we learned today? That comedians are funny people that want to make lots of money telling jokes? That and so much more. Work hard, be determined, write every day, practice your craft, get an agent, move to a big city. Oh yes, I almost forgot and get a schtick. Come up with your own identity, something that makes you stand out from the rest of the funny people. Create your own line of jokes that has to do with who you truly are.

Got it? Good. So get outta here kid,'cause you bother me.
