Took a shower, put on some clothes
Dried my tears and blew my nose
Trying to pretend so no one knows
But damn bleedin' heart; it still shows.
After bearing the lowest of lows
Across my world a darkness grows
Always black clouded from head to toes
Another dark day again and so it goes.
In the darkness with my quiet friend
My heavy broken heart does not mend
Whisper to me time and again
Let me know it's not the end.
Will this blackness ever go away?
Will I find joy again someday?
Feels like I am here to stay
All alone I have lost my way.

She just wanted to touch the sky.
