There are many stars that will never wear a championship ring. The first one that comes to mind is the Houston Rockets guard/forward Tracy McGrady. I don't think he will win a championship even if Yao Ming comes back healthy next season. McGrady has had health issues with his back. I love Tracy McGrady's game. He is an excellent outside shooter, powerful dunker and a decent defender. He also likes to win amd plays very hard. I think he could probably play another ten years or so in the NBA. The problem is the Houston Rockets won't spend the money to get McGrady a better supporting cast.

Another star who probably won't get a championship ring is point guard Jason KIdd of the Dallas Mavericks. Jason Kidd is in the twilight of his career. He is one of the best point guards to ever play in the NBA. He is a consistent triple double threat every night. His age did show in the playoffs when Chris Paul embarrassed him. Chris Paul would make a lot of players look bad in his defense. Jason Kidd is with a team that has all the talent in the world, but doesn't have the heart to win a championship. They don't like to play defense.

Carmelo Anthony probably will not win an NBA championship.Carmelo plays small forward for the Denver Nuggets. He has an excellent offensive game. He can take the ball to the rim and he has an decent outside shot. He has a good mid-range game and inside game. When I think of good teams I don't think of the Denver Nuggets. I don't think ownership will invest the money to bring in help for Anthony. He does have a superb running mate in Allen Iverson. Allen Iverson probably won't ever win a championship either.

Grant Hill is another player who probably win an NBA championship ring. He plays small forward for the Phoenix Suns. Grant Hill is a silky smooth player. He has a decent jumpshot and can finish around the rim. He also plays above average defense. He occasionally takes three-pointer and hits them. I think he planned on winning a championship in Phoenix this year. I think his chances got better when the Suns traded for Shaquille O'Neal. The Phoenix Suns are stuck with Shaquille O'Neal's big contract and probably can't afford to trade him. They probably won't get anything for him because he is not the dominant force he once was.

Richard Jefferson probably won't win an NBA championship. I think that is the reason Jason Kidd left the New Jersey Nets. Richard Jefferson plays small forward for the nets. He is an excellent shooter, exciting dunker and a good defender. The Nets are a team that is going nowhere fast. They hatdly ever make good changes to their roster. Jefferson and Vince Carter are both excellent players and both probably won't win a championship. They definitely won't win one in New Jersey.
