This Easter, turn your decorated eggs into groovalicious masterpieces! Here are ten easy ways to give your Easter Eggs Psychedelic Style! These unique eggs will be unlike any you've ever tried before!

* When dying eggs, ONLY eggs that have been dyed and decorated with FDA approved dye kits should be consumed. If there is any doubt about whether an egg is edible, discard of it. A safer way is to have some eggs for decorating, and others just for eating.

Start with hardboiled eggs, of course, and try any (or a combination!) of these tricks:

1. Tie-Dyed Eggs

What says Psychedelic Style more than Tie-Dying? Wraps rubber bands, and small strips of cloth or tape around eggs. Starting with darkest dye first, dip egg into dye, submerging egg all the way. Pull it out, allow it to dry, and remove some of the coverings, but not all. Re-dip in a different, lighter dye. Repeat process until you have several different colors on your egg.

2. Jamaican Me Crazy!

These are SO cute! If you can knit or crochet, this will be a FAST project for you. Simply knit a tiny Rasta Man hat and put it on top of an egg. Use black, green, yellow, and red yarn. You might as well make several while you have your yarn out. Once you see the first one, you will know your little Rasta Man needs friends. To make little bitty dreadlocks, take some doll hair and mix it with a combination of 3 parts water to one part Elmer's glue. Roll doll hair into dreadlocks and allow to dry. Stick it to top of egg and put little hat on to hide where you glued it on. Glue on googly eyes and paint a little smile on your egg. Psychedelic indeed.

3. Stenciled Eggs

You can use store bought stencils or make your own simple stencils. Just press the stencil to the egg and dab dye on with a sponge. Usually it works best to start with eggs that have by pre-dyed a light color. Reverse stenciling works just as well. You can get shape or letter stickers and write a message, then peel them off after they dye has dried. Simple and fun.

4. Wax on Wax Off

Draw or write on eggs with melted wax or a crayon. Now dip them into the dye and watch as the dye does not stick to the waxy areas.

5. Kiss-alicious Eggs

Start by dipping eggs in pink, purple, and fuchsia dye. After they dry, put on LOTS of lipstick (sparklier is better) and plant firm kisses on the eggs. Try redying after you have left lipstick marks. Like the Wax on Wax off trick above, this works well since most lipsticks repel the dye.

6. Paper Wrapped Eggs
