Poetry: Words

by Barbara Walker

Created on: June 20, 2008

We harm others,
with words and deeds,
rarely considering,
they have their own needs.
We interfere and argue,
seeing only our beliefs,
never letting the negative cease.
We insist ours
is the only way,
do as we do,
do as we say.
God must look down
at all this strife
and wonder, why, oh why,
did he give us life?
