"The love I have for you is long gone. It has been for some time now." Alice said trying to hold back the tears that were now at the edge of her eyes. "Than why are you still standing there, Alice?" He asked holding his anger back. The tears were now rolling down her face. The anger in him softened and he simply rapped his arms around her. No words needed to be spoken. They had both said too much. So he just embraced her. When he released her, she looked up at him. When their eyes met she says in a low, deep voice, "So what if I do love you. What are you going to do about it? He didn't know what to say for a moment, but then gazing into her beautiful blue eyes smiled and said, "I thought you'd never asked." He swepts in for a kiss. Suddenly she feels as though she can't breath. She puts her arms around his neck and feels her body becomes less tense as he release the kiss and picks her up. He carries her to his bedroom and lays her down on the bed. He gently touches his lips to hers. He slowly continues down her neck. He suddenly stops and looks into her eyes. "I can't," he gently says. He rolls to the side and sits up. He feels her hand touch his back. "I understand," she whispers. The next thing he knows, she's sitting by him with her head in his lap. He looks down at her. "What are you thinking about," she says feeling his eyes on her. "You," he replys gently. "My future," He continues. "What are you thinking?" He ask. She looks at him, meeting his gaze. "I'm thinking about life. How it's one crazy situation after the other. And then one day, you find someone that completely turns your life around. And nothings ever the same. I mean you still have crazy turns but you have someone to hold you along the way." He smiles at her. She sits up and turns to her. "I'm going to kiss you now," she whispers. She leans in closing her eyes as her lips touch his. For a moment they feel as one. When they release, she looks down. "I think I should go," she whispers. "Wait," He says taking her hand as she gets up to leave. He pulls her in for another kiss. He moves over and gently pulls her on the bed. "Do you really want to do this?" She ask. "Shhhhh," he whispers softly. She lays her head on his shoulder. "Will you marry me?" He whispers into her ear. She looks up at him and smiles. "Yeah, I will." She lays head back on his shoulder and drifts off into a sweet dream, knowing that life would never be the same, because she now had given the key to her heart to the man of her dreams.
