Resubmit: "Don't Write That"
only alone do you believe there are
secret messages written under your skin
and it's poisonous thinking
yea yea poisonous thinking
the demon pretends it's not there
but you wonder
under a nest of chimes
in your garment of sleep
you evade
its monsterous hunger
no gnashing of its teeth
nor the clinking of nails
stay awake stay awake
there's a creaking of the rails
don't write that
like you'd never expect
no ghost
no hack
but around its neck you're sure hang
the empty heads of poets attacked
and evade
stay awake
don't write that
five years streak by
you hold your breath
and close your eyes
you're living in the candle's center
evade
stay awake
don't write that

Poetry: Panic

In darkness
The moon's silhouette
Shines through tree branches
Casting an eerie glow
This is the place
Where
I saunter homeward with
Confidence in my stride.
Day is waning and night is
Creeping in on me like
A tiger on its prey.

Bubbling up in my chest
Toying
by Lostash
I've examined my life on some paper,
To be honest, it's not looking good,
Bills need paying, no food in the fridge,
I feel
