I've turned it over again and again in my mind,
Unsure of why or how you could leave us like that,
Didn't you realize we still need you,
I did everything I could to show you that,
In the end,
Was it enough,
That's somthing I cannot answer,
My heart aches knowing you're gone,
I try and try,
But I can't hide the pain of losing you,
Not now,
Not ever,
I loved you,
I still do,
My mind just keeps racing,
Would you be proud of me,
Although life has taken some crazy turns,
And you're no longer around,
I promise to keep fighting,
For you,
For the people I love,
And for myself.

She just wanted to touch the sky.

I can't listen to the arguing in the next room any longer
