The question regarding to angels and if they are real is answered by the word of God. Yes, angels are very real, and we encounter them throughout much of our lives. The true question is knowing what type of angel we are in contact with. Is it a good angel or a bad one? Lucifer was an angel in heaven, and was cast out along with one third of the angels dwelling there, due to the fact that Satan's desire was to over power God. Many of the angels followed his desires and they were cast out. What happened to them? Many of them are not seen with the physical eye, but can clearly be seen through the spiritual. There are angels in many forms, some we call earthly angels. These are the type that are evident, the ones that help us when we are going through trials and storms of life. They give us encouragement, kindness, and strength to get through our battles and tough times. These "earthly angels" are actually human beings that we call our friends. We may meet them at times in our life when we least expect to. This could occur at our jobs, neighborhood, anywhere for that matter. But, when we do meet them we instantly feel connected to them, and a bond begins to form. This is none other than friendship. Other types of angels are the kind that come to us as a stranger. This angel is miraculous because it has truly been sent from heaven. We might be down emotionally, and while out shopping or running errands we cross paths with a stranger that gets our attention by speaking to us. What is so miraculous are the words spoken that clearly relate to what we are going through. After our encounter with the "stranger", we feel uplifted and have the strength to continue with a much more hopeful outlook. Another type of angel is the one that comes to us without being revealed. They travel with us in our vehicles, guard us with their wings when harm comes our way, and give us warmth and peace to overshadow the darkness. They also speak to us in such ways that we refer to it as "something just told me to". Quite amazing are the angels that God sends to us, if only we did not have to battle the bad angels that come our way. Satan and his one third gang come at us with evil influences, negativity, and anything to harm us. These angels target our minds and our lives to destroy us in every area. They also disguise themselves as angels of light at times, but once we put our trust in them, they attack us with no mercy. They can be physical beings and those of the spiritual realm. Some appear to be good and they speak of goodness quite often, but once feeling threatened of exposure, this is when the darkness and evil takes control. We are taught these things in God's word, and we should not dispute the fact that angels exist.
