How to organize your household

say it was good before moving on to create more. So often we are so intent on cleaning the house and getting it perfect, but we seldom take the time and look at it and recognize that it looks great. In the stairs example, as soon as they were finished cleaning, before moving on to sorting those massive piles, they took the time to look at their beautiful staircase and appreciate it.

9. Finish sorting the other pilefinish the whole job so you have something that gives you energy instead of taking it away.

It was her big thing that clutter is delayed decision making and delayed decision making sucks out energy. Undone tasks take away energy because we always have them nagging at us at the back of our brain whenever we're reminded that we haven't completed them. That really rang true for me because I know that I hate having undone projects lingering in the back of my mind and making me feel guilty. I feel so good when I know I've completed what I needed to complete. Even the simple things like sorting the mail can be energy devourers. The best thing is to do it right when it comes up or set a goal for when to have it finished.

10. Be proud of yourself

11. Law: "I always leave a place as good or better than I found it."

I hope that this information is as helpful to others as it has been to me. It's really changed my way of thinking while I'm around the house. I'm more prone to pick things up as I go along. I have a long ways to go in organizing my house, but I feel like I know how to do it the best way now.
