The answer for Iraq.
What you need in order to understand my statement is neutrality, and the ability to be able to see beyond your own basic beliefs and acceptances. If you can do this you will realise that there is wisdom in my words.
Do not judge my words, merely consider them.
Unity is the answer for Iraq; the unity of Iraq.
By dividing the country we promote the differences between people, and those in Iraq will not be content with their portion of our segregation;' all Americans know better than I that segregation is not the answer.
The warring tribes, prominent in this country, greatly reduce the possibility of peace for Iraq, whether locally or nationally, because they are divided.
What is required is the recognition of an influence that will lead the people as a whole' to their own freedom.
The greatest influence in the Middle East is religion, and so it should be a religious intervention that brings order to this war torn nation.
I understand the implication of this statement, that I am suggesting the influence of Islam, but if Islam is the answer to peace then it is the method which should be employed.
Yet this influence cannot come from a Western source, it must come from within Islam.
The problem is that there are different interpretations of Islam.
So the unity of this nation (or even the Middle East) becomes dependant on one interpretation of the religion.
As it was with Muhammad, so it should be again.
Those who today profess to seek liberation' for Iraq are mostly only intent on gaining a powerful position within the country, so that they can control it. Their thoughts are not with the people; their thoughts are for themselves and the interpretation that they follow.
Because of their ignorance' they actually do more harm to the country and the people of Iraq, than any coalition force ever will.
It is for the people of Iraq to identify their needs and to promote peace amongst, not only fellow Iraqis, but all men. If they want a free, independent, and democratic nation, then they should work towards it.
We have all come a long way together since March 2003, and we have learnt many lessons. One of them is that things are not always as they seem to be, sometimes weapons of mass destruction are not present.
We all have to live with that actuality and although there is nothing we can do about it, we can learn from our mistakes.
Islam is a peaceful religious understanding, but as with all things, some men seek to corrupt it with their own ideas. These introduced ideas alienate this belief from the Western world, because they are not acceptable to us, but what we have to realise is that true Islam is good for Islamic's,' and the Middle East.
We cannot continually maintain a policing presence in Iraq; the time will come when Iraq will be required to do it for themselves. When that time comes they will need our support and understanding to make it work.
Islam will unite Iraq, and Islam will bring our soldiers home; alive.
