Points Of Life
I try to sleep... but for me sleep rarely comes... They say certain things mark turning
points in our lives... Things so wonderful that we grow as individuals... becoming more
aware to the amazing realization of Gods wonderful being... If you were to ask some
people what these occasions were... these so called points of life... some would say
their marriage... others would say the birth of their child... and there are so many points in
one person's life, that we sometimes don't even realize they are there... But today I
had my first point... for today I realized just how beautiful you really are... I didn't
want to take my eyes off of you... I wanted to memorize everthing about you... your smile...
your eyes... your face... and etch them into my heart... So that even when we were apart
you would fill my every dream... my every thought and my every breath... Every heartbeat
is an eternity when you are not around... You are the wind as you blow in every direction...
knowing you are there... feeling your presence... but still unable to grasp... You are the
sun, as you warm the depths of my soul... You are the moon and the stars as you light up
my nights... You are in everything I see... hear... touch... Everything that contains
beauty reminds me of you... And I can do no more than stand in awe and give thanks to God
for making someone as incredible as you... I now realize the meaning of this thing called
love... Not only is it a feeling... an emotion... it's an actual state of being... The
only words I can find to describe the way I feel... seem so inadequate... Yet however small
they seem... they are some of the most powerful words known to man... words that can
crush the strongest of men... yet give strength to some of the weakest... and I say them to
you now "I love you"

The Loss
Your death has left a void in me,
I have no way to cross.
When God took you
I felt the loss,

I refuse to be taken at face value.
Because there is so much more to me.
More then this visage you see.
Not just the anger,
Here I am all alone and suddenly it is frightening,
Just like when I was a child afraid of thunder and lightening.

while watching my lifeless body below.
My pain was gone when the dark
