MASTERPIECE
he whistles
as he walks away
a smile of satisfaction
upon his lips
she lay
on the street
clutching her chest
her blood dripping
the pain so unbearable
that she cannot make a sound
he struts with pride
glances over his shoulder
at his masterpiece
chuckling at her misery
she struggles to her knees
but she is caught
trying to escape
and is knocked over
as he winks at her
there is no way
she will survive
even as he leaves
his control is not gone
it was his plan
all along
to dismantle her so
then the world would know
she would be
forever broken
no good to anyone
his name signed
deep on the dotted line
of her soul
