Vengeance
vengeance hides behind stitched shades
of tenderness in those cobalt blue eyes
methodically and repititiously murdering
this chosen one making her the keeper
of His soft and tender heart...as a cold and
damp blanket falls on an icy heart that's
barely beating
fallen nun in Puritan clothing removes
the truthful gleaming to His fragile gaze
that captures her in a full embrace, and He's
already forced down fallen to His knees but
blinded by a razor sharp and pale light...can
God inhabit this Pagan temple she so devoutly
invites Him into?
speaks in tongues much too far removed
and foreign that paint her chameleon and
with such a manic demeanor that is either
too hot or cold but never tepid...and a full moon
causing hurricane tides to this once sacred
world SHE now possesses as He's so wounded
and dying again
snakebite venom must be the addiction
always fatal and yet HE keeps coming back
cobalt blue eyes that keep Him captured and
shaking those too many times she turns to ice...
jugular tapping cause that escapes her disposition
cripples His posture and shackles His world that
SHE now possesses....
