Is there an end in sight to this American economic disaster? There are many people that believe that there is hope for the future, but we can't just lie around and rely on the government to fix our problems. This country was built upon a democracy where the people spoke out and wanted a better life. Now I'm not saying that I don't live a good life. I'm proud to be an American and I appreciate the life I have, but its time for a change and we are the generation too make that change before something bad happens.
There's hope in sight. There are other prosperous countries that have adopted and benefited from hemp farming. When we became a nation, it was mandatory to grow hemp too boost our economy. There are many benefits to hemp farming, such as jobs, fuel, medicine, and textiles. You can produce four times more paper out of one acre of hemp than one acre of trees. Hemp can be used as a great fuel source. It is readily available and can be grown anywhere. On the money that we can save from hemp farming, it can be used not only too boost our economy, but also purchasing luxuries. Who doesn't want more money? With all these pharmaceutical drugs that cost an arm and a leg and are also bad for your health, we would be able to just go down the street to the local small business owner and purchase food products and medical supplies that benefit us not only health wise but also economically. Small businesses help boost our economy, just think how many small business owners there would be if hemp farming was legal. More than 18billion dollars is spent in the U.S. alone on marijuana annually. Imagine that 18 billion dollars being taxed and used to help our economy. With all these small businesses and hemp farms, there are more job opportunities. As American citizens, we need to rise up and open our eyes and see how much of our tax money is being wasted on the war on drugs and how much money can be made by this plant!
As American people,we have rights that most countries only dare to dream of.Why are we letting these rights be wasted and not speaking up and using them. If there is to be change,we have too make that change. The chances and freedoms we have are a precious right that shouldn't be over looked. We need to understand that people have died just so i will be able to jot down my opinion on this website. Hemp is an economic solution, not a problem. If we used it we would be saving more money then we have ever.
