with the global community instead of trying to dominate it.

His remaining opponent, however, may have unintentionally exposed his eerie dark side of Bush similarities more than he intended to by condemning the court's 5-4 verdict. Let us hope that the public is paying attention to these details.

So, here we are again ladies and gentleman, rounding the bend to another Presidential Election. Last week we witnessed the unfortunate surrender by Ron Paul in this contest, and Hilary Clinton has bowed out as well. It thus seems that the traditional narrowing of candidates has again limited our choice to a pair of politicians. While McCain is hoping to distance himself from the President, his words contradict his intention. After counting the votes in November, we will see if he regrets not having kept his foot in his mouth.

Barack Obama, on the other hand, is beginning to capture the public with his image and message for real change. Because change sounds like such a welcoming course of action for most voters, that may be all he needs to continue focusing on in order to receive a mandate.

The somewhat charismatic and unarguably intelligent orator Barack, with his energetic message and voting consistency, has thus far been successful. Although, that should not come as a surprise to voters, as Obama's image and platform offer more hope for change than any of his mainstream adversaries to date.
