Poetry: Shattered

by Cristina Miller

Created on: June 18, 2008

BLUE STONE

Nestled inside of me
Is the uncried cry
Of the seconds
Who forgot to be born,
The roots are hurting
Deep down inside,
The trees are impossible
And the wing is stretched out.
Beyond the unknown,
The bird is startled
In her timid flight,
The stars follow her
With trembling light.
